Thirteen years ago today, on June 4th, Women of Refined Gold, Inc. was founded with a clear, burning vision: to stand side-by-side with women and youth in our community, turning trials into triumphs and pain into purpose.
As we reflect on over a decade of community transformation, youth mentorship, and safe transitional housing, our hearts are filled with overwhelming gratitude. We have seen lives completely restored, and it is all because a community of believers decided to lock arms with us.
Now, as we step into our 14th year, our focus is sharper than ever. Our organizational theme for this season is Refocus, Regain, and Realign—and we need your help to pave the road ahead.
From June 4th through June 30th, we are officially launching our 13 Years of Refined Impact Campaign, and we invite you to be a vital part of it.
The Power of 13: How You Can Help
To keep this milestone simple, accessible, and high-impact, we are utilizing the power of the number 13. We are asking our friends, partners, and neighbors to invest in one of three symbolic giving tiers this month:
Invest $13 – The Anniversary Gift: Sustains our core community resources, emergency outreach, and curriculum updates.
Invest $130 – The Decade Plus Three: Directly sponsors a complete training module or workshop seat for a program participant.
Invest $1,300 – The Legacy Circle: Sustains vital operations, safety maintenance, and stabilization for our safehaven resource hub.
