Other Ways to Support
WORG Safe Haven
Safe Haven is our dedicated home in Montgomery, Alabama, where women escaping domestic violence can find immediate safety, stability, and support. This secure residence offers a healing environment for survivors and their children as they begin rebuilding their lives. We rely on volunteers, donated household items, and community partnerships to keep Safe Haven running and fully stocked with essentials. Whether you can offer your time, skills, or resources, your support helps create a place of hope, dignity, and new beginnings.
Ongoing Involvement
Our programs are the heart of our mission, designed to educate, empower, and uplift survivors and youth affected by domestic violence. From healing-centered workshops to Purple Academy—our girls and teen mentorship program—we’re building strength and resilience at every stage of life. We’re always in need of passionate volunteers to help lead sessions, mentor youth, support events, and advocate for those we serve. Whether you have a few hours or long-term availability, your involvement can make a lasting impact in someone’s journey toward safety and self-worth.
Sponsoring
Sponsorship is a powerful way to stand with survivors and amplify our mission. By partnering with us, your organization or business directly supports critical programs, safe housing, and community outreach efforts. Sponsorship opportunities range from event support to ongoing program funding, offering visibility, impact, and the chance to be part of lasting change. Together, we can build a stronger, safer future for women and families in need.
