Educate, Empower, & End abuse.

A note from our Director.

I started Women of Refined Gold after experiencing physical and verbal abuse for ten years. After finally finding the courage to leave with my three daughters, I made it my mission to help other women do the same and to provide a safe-haven. I also make it my mission to spread awareness of this silent killer among women in our communities.

T'sharin Moncrief,

Executive Director and Founder

We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and thrive after abuse.

Our Mission.

The mission of Women of Refined Gold is to Educate, Empower, and End repeat cycles of unhealthy relationships. We do so by educating communities impacted by domestic violence, taking a holistic approach, and equipping women and teen girls with survivor resources to reclaim their lives.

Our Mission

Our Vision.

Our vision is that every household in the River Region would be educated about domestic violence and survivor resources. Ultimately, our vision is to contribute to bringing an end to domestic violence.

Our Impact.

Number of women we've help.

Since inception of WORG, our impact has provided women with shelter, safe-haven, food, clothing and more to help them transition from abuse.

Pieces of clothing  donated.

Because women often leave their homes and leave many of their personal belongings behind, WORG donated clothing to women and young girls in need during their transition.

Number of toiletries we provided.

When women leave their homes, many of them leave empty handed, leaving everything behind. WORG provides women with necessary items to make their transition a little easier.

Number annual holiday giveaways

Every year WORG holds annuals Thanksgiving and Christmas giveaways to help women in need with Christmas Gifts and food for the holidays.

Help us increase our Impact in the River Region.
