DV Prayer Breakfast

Women of Refined Gold, Inc and the Office of Violence and Prevention (Rochelle Tyus) have teamed up for a Prayer Breakfast to remember victims of domestic violence, honor survivors of domestic violence, and pray that we will be able to eliminate violence in our homes and our community. Cost is $25 per person. Proceeds benefit the WORG Safehaven. This will be a powerful gathering of survivors, advocates, our community, and clergy at The Armory in Montgomery, Al. This event aims to Educate the community, Empower victims and/or survivors, to End unhealthy cycles of unheathy relationships. This event is also to raise awareness and spark conversations about domestic violence, offering hope and support to those affected.

This event will include prayer by Apostle Keith Moore, Guest Speak Phillip Ensler, Panelist: T'sharin Moncrief-Founder/Survivor, Ashlen Nettles-Survivor, and Eboni Cooper- Survivor. 

The panel will also include K. Thompson, President- Transition Technical College, Inc Monica Jordan, Mother of DV Victim to share their stories as it relates to domestic violence. This year's moderator will be Eric Nettles.
